  As a management intern I planned and implemented Netball Development Holiday programmes for youth at netball centres across the mainland region. In this role I communicated with netball centre coordinators to understand their needs and expectations of the programmes, I created marketing resources, and developed registration and feedback forms.

  As a coach it was my job to present after school sports clinics. My responsibilities included coordinating with my manager, parents, and other coaches, planning and implementing introductory sport sessions appropriate for the required skill levels, taking rolls to ensure all children had arrived, and maintaining a safe environment for all participants.

  In this role I have worked collaboratively with other coaches (internal and external of the organisation) and used effective communication to plan and implement junior sports programmes for 25 students with a range of physical impairments. I had to be creative and adaptive to make the sessions accessible to the individual athletes needs. Most recently in this role I have been appointed as the volunteer coordinator for the ParaFed South Island Games in 2019.
