Supported the strategic development of the company’s lean operating system (i.e. The CE Way), while coaching leaders to use lean concepts to include visual management, accountability processes, problem solving, and standardized work to manage and achieve performance goals. Primary support areas included Gas & Electric Operations, HR, and Finance, while delivering problem solving training to 600+ leaders. Established a NIMS compliant emergency management program at the 4th largest combination utility in the US by 1) establishing the company’s first all hazards Emergency Operations Plan, 2) implementing viable emergency notification & incident management system and 2 mobile command vehicles, 3) developing & executing the company’s training & exercise strategies. Managed facility security for all company locations (e.g. gas compressors, generating plants, service centers, etc.) in Michigan by developing site security plans to comply with various federal and state regulations, performing audits, and recommending for physical security infrastructure enhancements for annual planning cycle.
