  Pre-reg Pharmacist

  I carried out my pre-registration pharmacist training at Epsom & St Helier Hospitals. My training gave me an insight into the various different roles that pharmacist are involved in. I worked in the aseptic preparation of medication and the hospital dispensary as well as rotating through the various different ward throughout my training. These included care of the elderly, psychiatric ward, renal unit, children’s medicines, ICU and the eye unit.

  Pharmacy Manager

  As a pharmacy manager I was responsible for the running of the pharmacy . A priority was to utilize my own and the pharmacy team's expertise to give customers professional healthcare advice. This was achieved through effective training pro-grammes I set up for myself and colleagues. I enjoyed providing services such as smoking cessation, weight loss programme, medicines use reviews and emergency hormonal contraception.

  Locum Pharmacist

  I was a regular locum Pharmacist at Clarke Pharmacy for several years. My role involved overseeing the dispensing and supply of medication in monitored dosage systems to elderly patients. I was involved in training dispensers and providing all regular pharmacy health care services. As well as dispensing I also carried out advance services such as MUR's, NMS's and smoking cessation. I also supplied medication under PGD's.

  I was a regular locum at Sainsbury's Pharmacy and have worked at several different branches but mostly work at the North Cheam branch. As well as dispensing I carry out many other services such as MUR's, NMS's, cholesterol testing, wellness checks and flu vaccinations.

  I worked as a locum pharmacist at both branches since 2012. I was superintendent of the pharmacy group from September 2014 - November 2015. My responsibilities as superintendent included preparing and updating SOP's, dealing with information governance and ensuring legality of pharmacy practice.
