  Key Responsibilities: 1. Production Planning and Control for Wirewall-Material Requirements Planning for wirewall.-Create drawings and works orders for manufacturing.-Attend and participate in daily production and change over meetings.-Produce wirewall order status.-Participate in and chair daily and weekly production and changeover meetings.-Investigate, give reason and mitigation plan for overdue orders and excess stock.-Problem identification and solving within wirewall portfolio.-Arrange for work in progress and finished product to be tested.-Raise any quality concerns and risks.2. Sub-Contractor & Logistics Management: -Decide which coating company to use based on price, priority and their workload.-Arrange with production secretary to create purchase order.-Prioritise works orders with subcontractors.-Arrange for transport with Logistics manager to send panels to and back from sub-contractors.-Check, sign, amend and authorise Invoices from subcontractors.-Arrange with Quality Control Manager for inspection of items from sub-contractor.3. Project management: -Manage and implement engineering projects.-Initiate, support and facilitate continuous improvement projects.-Document all project documents.-Basic work studies for change overs, bottlenecks, scrap and reject reduction.-Create and Improve Standard Operating Procedures.-Review, analyse, and improve factory layout to optimize material flow.4. Business Process Analysis-Analyse and improve business processes (Process re-engineering)-Business process mapping.-Data analysis and preparation for decision making.-Ensure all business processes are up to date.-Machine performance analysis (Make daily graphs for machine performance see trends).5. Visual Management and Housekeeping:-Ensure that all visual management boards are up to date.-Ensure that production area and office areas are neatly kept at all time.-Manage factory cleaner and yellow line painter. Recording keeping of panels to contractors for coating and also stock taking purposes.6. Investigate the state of the wire wall bay production and storage area and report back on a daily basis.7. Wire wall storage plan.8. Create drawings and works orders for manufacturing.9. Quality Control:-ISO framework and next steps.-Gap Analysis-Review the Wire wall quality control process, do over inspections and make improvement recommendations, also make sure that all wire wall panels have descriptive labels.-Loading and invoice of products: document the loading & counting process and make improvement recommendations, also formalise process.- Create and issue out Quality control documents for every order.- Keep record of all Wire wall orders10. House keeping:- Create housekeeping drawings and assign housekeeping areas to Foreman.- Ensure that 6S is understood and applied throughout the factory.11. Visual Management:-Update wire wall board-Update production board-Update housekeeping board-Ensure the all stock, and work areas are clearly marked.12. Project management: -Ensure that all engineering projects are on track.-Document All project documents13.
