Worked in outpatient and inpatient pediatrics, inpatient orthopedics, emergency room, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and independent duty corpsman orthopedic sick call Recruit Training Command. Honorable discharge as Hospitalman Petty Officer Second Class.

Developed two of the highest attended continuing education seminars in the recent history of the organization. Developed the Electronic Stance Control Lower Extremity Orthotic Syposium which drew interest and attendees from throughout the country and was repeated at subsequent national meetings.
