  • I manage a diverse team of in-house full-stack developers, freelancer developers (2-4 depending on workload), and offshore developers (20+ on a per project basis), while collaborating with project management to scope new features with a sensitivity to client budgets, risks and timelines. I play a pivotal role in defining product goals with measurable results, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.• My responsibilities include working with the in-house development team to define user stories, acceptance criteria, sprint planning, and sprint reviews. I ensure day-to-day check-ins to meet sprint goals and manage product backlogs and feature definitions. My role extends to executing projects of varying scale, from a 15K+ registered user alcohol education platform to single-page sites.• Focus on maximizing operational performance with a focus on the implementation of standardized issue tracking, internal documentation workflows, client training and repeatable processes for defining work plans. Notably, connecting issue tracking to our task management platform for websites, applications and software builds tracking from both the application and API level to proactively resolve user issues.• Spearhead innovative approaches to online and digital experiences, encompassing site mapping, wireframing, information architecture, UX/UI, and accessibility. My leadership extended to overseeing 14+ WordPress websites, 12+ React.js-based sites, 2 mobile applications (Apple Store and Google Play), 3 SaaS products as well as streamlining design and development handoff.• Additionally, I manage the development of an employee training tool for alcohol brands, collaborating with Auth0/Okta to establish a connection for user authentication based on individual organization IDP and security requirements with a focus on user privacy, while ensuring all technical and security protocols are met.   • Work with the board president to execute initiatives to promote the Graphic Design Department and program.• Strengthen communication between alumni, students and the faculty to drive engagement, including working with other board members to build an alumni database to share work and experience to promote the successes of our alumni base.• Manage the mentoring program as well as the training of the new Mentoring Program Coordinator. Activities include building and sending surveys to students and alumni to effectively match based on work experience with fields of interest for students. Engagement with alumni has increased with 2023 being the most successful year for alumni signups with a 22% increase.• Launched an industry expert initiative to connect faculty with industry professionals to consult who work in specialized design related fields.
