  Assessment of Carbon storage, above-ground biomass, and development of an allometric Model for Indian bamboo species. Investigate and quantify the carbon sequestration potential of bamboo forests as a nature-based solution for mitigating climate change. Assess the efficiency of bamboo in capturing and storing atmospheric carbon dioxide, considering factors such as species diversity, age, and environmental conditions. Utilized the collected data to develop a robust allometric model tailored to Indian bamboo species. This model has an accurate prediction of above-ground biomass and carbon accumulation based on various growth parameters, offering a valuable tool for researchers and conservationists in assessing and managing bamboo ecosystems in terms of Carbon storage potential. Systematically compare the newly developed growth model with existing models for Indian bamboo species. This comparative analysis aimed to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement, contributing to the refinement and advancement of bamboo-related research and conservation efforts in the region. Understanding bamboo's role in sustainable development by examining its potential as a renewable resource for carbon-neutral products, thereby contributing to both carbon storage and reducing carbon emissions associated with conventional materials.
