  As Communications Manager, I led and measured an award-winning communications team in support of First Union Home Equity Bank ( FUHEB ), a $ 10 billion home equity division of Wachovia. My focus was on employee and leadership communications to increase flow of information to central office employees and nationwide sales force. I provided communications support to a 12-person leadership team in order to meet organization financial and employee goals. My responsibilities included developing and maintaining a communication strategic plan, assessing and reporting on messages and strategies, leveraging technology to enhance processes, tools and activities. I developed marketing and event planning for employee leadership and recognition conferences, designed and wrote newsletters, brochures and oversaw customer public relations. As a member of Program Office I ensured that communications impacts were identified and addressed.
