  Skills Tutor/Assessor/ Administrator

  I worked at RTS Training for just under 10 years. Starting as an apprentice administrator, I went on to develop my mentoring skills and by the time I flew the nest, I was delivering Functional Skills English, maths and ICT up to Level 2. Predominantly tutoring unemployed learners to gain core qualifications to enable them to find work. Also managing and monitoring own workload to meet learning deadlines and company expectations. Providing 1-1 support, learning and development through Apprenticeships in Business Administration and Customer Service up to Level 3. Regularly analysing learner performance and offering advice and guidance to any learners as required and developing own learning resources following qualification standards. Maintained a significantly high achievement rate with all learners with many learners going forward to find employment.Alongside this role, I was providing developmental assistance and support to the Administration department. This involved ensuring policies and procedures were up to date and systems were being correctly followed and maintaining my general administration duties.   In this role, I am a central point of contact for both internal and external customers in relation to complex queries around training and education. I am responsible for a great variety of tasks including the line management of the Administration Team, team troubleshooting, development and creation of processes and procedures, registration/certification of learners on Apprenticeship and other vocational courses, creating reports and analysing data, updating and ensuring accuracy on the Electronic Learner Management Systems and the Digital Apprenticeship Service, Organisation of EPAs, liaising with Universities and other connections, maintaining social media presence, attending various meetings with internal and external partners, other ongoing projects relating to the improvement of the system wide services. Show less I joined LCHS as a key player within the team supporting all aspects of training provision ensuring high quality standards are applied to all aspects of the team’s functions to ensure that the service provided meets the high expectations of both internal and external customers. I utilised the Electronic Staff Record to coordinate the booking of a variety of training events across LCHS and maintain training records relating to all education and training activities and responded to queries in relation to bookings and general training enquiries.My role quickly grew more towards the apprenticeship aspect of the training due to my previous experience working for a Training Company in Sleaford.
