      Project: Construction of 8 new Unit contains 9E Frame Gas Turbines + 8 Generators 1000 MW (8 x 125MW).Responsibilities: 1- Welded Storage Tanks: *Reviewing all the relevant WPS(s), PQR & WQTR that will be used during the erection. *Following the total tank erection process according to API 650 12th edition Requirements. *Following the entire welding process before, during & after the erection of each tank. *Ensuring the conformity with API 650 requirements by periodically checking the following: **Welds (Butt or fillet) soundness by Visual & RT or by any other suitable NDE. **Dimensional tolerances by checking the local deviations (Peaking & Banding), plumbness & Roundness. **Inspection of the welded reinforcing plates by pneumatic test. **Inspection of the welded tank bottom by vacuum box. **following the hydrostatic testing process after the completion of the tank erection. 2-Piping:*Reviewing all the relevant WPS(s), PQR & WQTR that will be used during the erection.*Reviewing all the pressure gauges calibration certifications before using.*Following the total piping erection according to their relevant specs and with the compliance with ASME B31.3 requirements.*Checking each line diameter, thickness, material & its relevant fitting rating according to relevant line list or specs.*Checking fit up of each joint and sign before welding.*Ensuring the suitability of the filler metal to be used. *Checking the location, position, elevation, slope & orientation of each pipe line according to the marked up P&ID and its relevant Isometric drawing.*Visual inspection after the completion of the joint welding.*Ensuring the completion of all the activities required before the line hydrotest such as the removing of (Instruments, Control valves, PSV, Orifice plates,.....etc) opening of ball valves, gate valves, vents,...etc, pre cleaning is completed and so on.
