      Served apprenticeship with British Steel which then changed hands several times before becoming Vallourec. Progressed within company to become shift technician in charge of shift maintenance.overall responsibilities included looking after all CNC machine tools, process equipment including handling gear, hydraulic systems, Pneumatic systems, PLC controlled equipment, heat treatment control and calibration of all process control equipment relevant to the industry.
