  Youth advisor- creating access project

  Working with Youth Action and People with Disabilities Australia (PWDA) as an advisory group member on their Creating Access project. The Creating Access Project aimed at building awareness around the experiences of young people with disabilities accessing youth services. The project looked at providing resources for young people to stand up for themselves through self-advocacy practices. - Developed and starred in a collaborative toolkit with written and audio-visual resources covering the provision of access and advocacy in the youth sector.• Advocated for greater provision of services in disability and youth sectors, in face to face meetings with current sitting members of NSW Parliament.• Presented finalised project and my reflections on the inclusivity of the youth sector in presentations to the NSW Youth Work conference in Sydney.
