Ensuring each order was appropriately package and quality check to insure there was no faults or damage.   The job involved working in a number of different areas including shoes, tills, store evaluations and close down shifts which gets the store ready for the next day. One of the main duties was greeting and serving customers from the moment they enter the shop to advise them and answer any queries they may have, from stock availability and details of special offers to a product’s price. Because this is an important part of the job, it was essential to understand the products so I could give as much information as possible. One of the tasks is working on the tills and handling customer’s transactions. Ensuring the shop was kept clean and tidy. As well restocking goods and ensuring they’re attractively displayed, particularly if the item was in a sale or on offer. When It came time for stock to be replenished or if new products are coming in, it was my responsibility to assist in the deliveries. During my time, I was able to achieve top seller in the store on numerous occasions and earned the highest commission for those given months. Through this role I was able to build up confidence when talking to members of the public and customers. Show less
