  Planned and executed the logistics of the 2013 Active World Conference, Active's biggest, most comprehensive educational technology conference for 800+ attendees. Specific role meant meeting with Conference hotel site and staff regularly to review conference rooms, their size, quantity of seated people it could accommodate, its layout, rental equipment, power and internet capabilities and budget. Created visual guides of room layout, quantity of chairs, podiums, projectors required per room. Coordinated with conference leaders on presentations and expected attendance for each of the 20+ conference rooms to allow best size room based on popularity of the topic. Worked with outside vendors to rent all A/V equipment including flat screen TVs, power cords, laptops, microphones and so on. Oversaw the setup of conference prior to and during the three-day event.
