      FAST (Fawley Strategy) ProjectThe Fawley refinery is located on Southampton Water, UK, and the $1bn expansion plan aims to increase the production by approximately 45% or 38,000 barrels per day, along with logistics improvements.I worked as Engineering checker on the project. I am was responsible for 4 Pre- assamebled racks (PAR) and 2 Pre-Assembled Process Units (PAU's) in the hydrogen Plant and Diesel hydrotreater unit.The PAR's and PAU's will be fabricated in china and will be transported to the site Fawley in UK. Thus involving transportation analysis viz. Barge analysis , SPMT analysis and Jacking analysis. I am responsible for the developing the Structural layout and ensuring the structural adequacy for the PAR's/PAU's for transportation and Onsite analysis. The Project is using SMT (Smart Model Transfer) methodology to share the information with the fabricator. Therefore my work involved 3D model checking, Enlisting member end forces etc and ensuring all the required information is passed on to the fabricator via SMT package. After the model transfer to the fabricator , the work involves checking of the Fabricator model and reviewing the connection calculations for the PAR/PAU. My work also required tracking the changes in PAR/PAU for further design development or logistics requirement and ensuring effective change management i.e timely informing Fabricator as well as the project for any changes. Show less Future growth Project , TCO (Tengizchevroil), KazakhstanDETAIL ENGINEERING (Phase 4)Area Lead I worked as Area lead for Inlet Separation/Slug Cather area on this project.The Area has 5 modules and 8 Skids with around 800 structural drawings (including logistics) with around 8700 MT of steel.I was responsible for progress reporting, Manpower and work planning, interaction with other disciplines, Co-ordination with Home Office for change management and other discipline related issues and ensuring timely release of the structural drawings.My work involved supervising team of engineering and design team for preparation for 90% Model Review,tag closer / resolution , Review of structural calculations/drawing and 3D model. Thus ensuring the timely release of Structural drawings on schedule to fabricator. I also supported Construction,Fabrication and logistics for their queries/requests and issuing the DCN (Design Change notice) on time to have minimum Impact on the fabrication.I worked for resolution/closer of comments from the marine warranty surveyor (London Offshore Company) and getting their approval before Sail-off/Transportation of the modules from fabrication yard to site.Engineering CheckerMy work involved checking of piling and foundation drawings. Work also required coordination with counterpart in Home office for changes and design development. Also supporting design team for Model preparation for 30% and 60% Model review and tag closer.In addition to my work as engineering checker ,I also lead a team of 12 engineers for organizing various class room trainings for new engineers namely Steel design basics,Direct Analysis method, Basic Modularization, STAADsoftware ,Barge Analysis , SPMT analysis , lifting analysis , Foundation Design, WeightManagement, Quality procedures & requirement etc Show less FUTURE GROWTH PROJECT, TCO, KazakhstanFEED (Front End Engineering & design –Phase 3) MODULE ENGINEER• Worked as a Module Engineer for a compressor module (Process Structure), the total weight of module is 4200 MT (out of 2000MT is Steel).• The module size is 16 m (wide) x 60 m (length) x 33 m (height)• As I was working on the heaviest module, I had done lots of studies regarding :- Module fixing detail, Foundation layout optimization. Developed Modeling technique in STAAD to simulate actual behavior & boundary conditions. Effects of temperature/thermal loads on structure & Mitigation Effective bracing arrangement for different transportation Analysis Site Staging & Erection problems and mitigation. Standardizing the secondary/tertiary structural steel items etc. Standardizing the MTO/Weight Report Format as project involved almost 105 modules with a total weight of 1,20,000 MT of steel. Standardizing the calculation format/templates, Basic Load Cases & Combinations to be used on the project.• I was the originator of the first calculation that was sent out to client for review & comments; the same procedure was followed for other calculations.
