      Primary responsibilities and day to day activities• Backup infrastructure support in production environment running on IBM Cloud.• Ensure prompt support for any customer backup issue. • Install, upgrade and configuration of TSM Client for LINUX, AIX and Windows OS. • Define/configure the client schedules and administrative schedules.• Ensure TSM DB backups and other daily process completion. • Installation and configuration of TDP for SQL, TDP for DB2, TDP for Oracle, TDP for Hana, TDP for Sybase Databases.• Managing virtual client (VMware) backups using TSM4VE.• Troubleshoot day to day backup issues for customers and restart/complete backups after issue fixed.• Define & configure device class, storage pools and tape libraries.• Provide backup and restore support to customers.• Configure alternate client setup for DB Restore.• Querying Occupancy, file space for a node and lock/unlock and reset passwords.• Constantly checking TSM server availability, administrative process & schedules. • Monitor backup alerts and take appropriate action to fix them.• Exporting and Importing data using sequential media volumes between data centers.• Good knowledge of backup & restore technologies including setting up client nodes, domains, policy settings, management class, copy groups include/exclude lists.• Tape Library availability, performance monitoring & reporting of drives and paths.• Checking Activity logs for any issues and audit library for any mismatches found in TSM Inventory and library inventory.• Ability to collaborate with other support teams to troubleshoot complex incidents, and break/fix issues.• Daily health check for TSM servers. • Collect daily reports for failed, missed backups and send backup KPI report to higher management.
