  Working as a Trainer and Editor for a non-profit Participatory Video(PV) project called THE KAZIRANGA PROJECT. The main aim of the project is to train and build capacity of the local youth and community members, living on the fringes of Kaziranga National Park, to make their own videos about their community, the issues their community is facing and to proffer solutions which are local. These films can also be used in community- to-community exchange to spread ideas, and to encourage and inspire.Phase One of the project is over and participants made 3 films, one from each genre - Non-Fiction, Fiction and Advertisement. All the selected participants were introduced to various aspects of filmmaking like ideating a story, scriptwriting, shooting and editing. It gave them an opportunity to connect with their communities and the knowledge they have inherited from their elders. Show less
