  A consumer experience centric role - created to bridge the gap between teams; I worked closely with Consumer Marketing Insight, Consumer Testing Insight, Capability and Design. My role helped to break down our process and ensure we were connecting with consumers at the correct time. My aim was to set our brand ambitions high, and run our projects through testing at each phase to identify: 1. "The offering" - What does this product do? 2. "The interaction" - How do I use this product with ease? 3. "The love affair" - How pleasurable is the interaction with this product? Show less I was scouted out by the Packaging Design team at the Loughborough Degree show and shortly afterwards started at Unilever R&D Centre in Port Sunlight within the Home Care Design Team. Whilst here I have worked with leading brands such as DIG, Skip, Cif and Comfort. My main area of work looked to develop a collaboration between the Consumer Testing Insights (CTI) team and ourselves, forming a system known as the Collaboration Network which now helps identify roles within a project, showing that the only way to be effective is to join forces. The process of creating this strategy also identified better ways of working which focused first and foremost on the consumer experience with our leading products. Show less

  A trusted and relied upon partner to the M&S Marketing, Design & Production teams. I managed a team of 20 who sat in house with our client, project managing all marketing asset requirements for Clothing & Home from initial brief, to design scheduling, artwork briefing and production management. It was my job to ensure all campaigns were running through the M&S process as smoothly as possible; on time and in budget. Under my leadership the team adapted to huge changes to the way we worked (even before COVID) including changes to external print partners, changes to systems (such as upgrades to ITG's software), multiple client restructures and the introduction of Monday.com, which I managed the build and training for. Show less A senior 'go-to' for client needs. Middle man for all production briefs, linking M&S marketing production, design, copywriting and external print partners and artwork teams. Expert and trainer on ITG's 'Media Centre' asset management system. Within this role as part of my promotion, the ITG team took on packaging within our remit. At the time this involved up-skilling my team and gave a new level of complexity to our roles, as we were juggling multiple timelines, with packaging campaigns often running a year in advance of their file to print dates.
