  November 18Third Obama Foundation Pilot Training Day in BostonSimilar to the pilot trainings in Chicago and Tempe, small groups of participants moved through a series of workshops and team challenges led by peer advisors. From understanding the importance and fundamentals of telling their own personal stories, to breaking issues down to their root causes and developing a “first step” to address them, everyone in the room had an opportunity to build upon their experiences and learn new ways to make an impact in their community.Other highlights from the day included an Engagement Fair with local organizations where participants could explore volunteer and leadership opportunities in the greater Boston area, and a team exercise on identifying personal and community assets — showing participants how well-equipped they actually are to make change.The Foundation hosted its third and final pilot training of 2017 at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center at Roxbury Community College in Roxbury, Boston, bringing together over 150 young people to kickstart their work in civic life and to become more active in shaping their own communities.   Manchester International Film Festival. The Film Festival will take place on August 12-14th 2022 in Downtown Manchester, New Hampshire. The festival will feature a variety of films, shorts, and will spotlight New England and New Hampshire movies and filmmakers. The Festival will take place at The Palace Theatre in our 800 seat theatre, the newly renovated REX Theatre with 300 seats and The Spotlight Room hosting after parties, mixers and meet and greets with capacity of 150. The Palace Theatre will host an opening night ceremony and a Big Screen Premier, The REX Theatre will host movies from around the region, late night cult movie and talk back panels with film professionals.The Mission of The Manchester International Film Festival is to celebrate the return of movies to Manchester, to celebrate the history of The Rex Theatre and to spotlight local filmmakers. To celebrate the international diversity in the City of Manchester through film. To bring together film makers and film lovers for a weekend of movies, documentaries, International movies, showcasing new talent and celebrating Big Screen Classics.
