  I am working as an Operation engineer for the Distillate Hydrotreater unit (DHT) and isomerization unit. Isomerization unit produces gasoline blending product. Gasoline blending product will be processed to gasoline blending to produce high octane gasoline.Isomerization unit is used to upgrade the octane number of the light straight-run naphtha (LSRN). Moreover, I am working on Distillate Hydrotreater unit (DHT) which is used to remove sulfur and nitrogen and other contaminants from diesel product so it can be utilized efficiently and safely in several applications. My responsibilities as an operation engineer are to ensure all units in the isomerization and DHT complex perform efficiently as planned. Moreover, checking the process variables in a daily basis by monitoring them in the control room, and making actions in case of any under-performance. Also, visiting the site to ensure all units are operating safely. Furthermore, reporting any area of improvements that could be applied to the unit configuration or design to obtain higher efficiency out of the unit. Show less

  Operation Engineer of Hydrocracker Unit

  I am currently working as operation engineer for Hydrocracker (HCK) Unit in YASREF Refinery. This unit takes the feed of gas oil from atmospheric distillation and vacuum distillation columns to produce primary diesel along with kerosene, and naphtha for gasoline blending pool. My responsibility as process engineer is to ensure optimum and safe operation for the HCK unit, hence producing high quality products . Daily work activities include monitoring process units such as reactors, separators, compressors and so on, and taking proper actions in case of any under performance for the process equipment. Moreover, we always look for any optimization chances that will result in better product yield and equipment performance. Show less
