      Sunny Nash is the author of Bigmama Didn’t Shop At Woolworth’s about life with her part-Comanche grandmother during the Civil Rights Movement. Selected by the American Association of University Presses as a Book for Understanding U.S. Race Relations, the book is also recommended by the Miami-Dade Public Library for Native American Collections.Nash was with the Houston Chronicle/Hearst 16 years and The Eagle/Knight-Ridder 8 years as newspaper columnist, historian and documentarian. Nash was on contract with Ancestry to write historical articles, book contributions, case studies, research document and edit historical photographs. Nash was a writer-researcher for professional and literary journals, historical collections and national magazines. Former Country Radio Talk-Show Host and News Reporter, Nash is a former National Public Radio Program Director and contributor to NPR’s All Things Considered. Nash is a member of US Press Corps, Ethical Journalism Network, World Heritage Centre, International Society for Educational Technology. Show less
