      In my role with the Policy and Legislation Unit of Senator Bam Aquino's office, I contributed to key policy research supporting legislative initiatives and assisted in drafting Senate bills and resolutions, ensuring their readiness for filing. I managed stakeholder communications for public hearings, coordinated updates on legislative progress during hearings and technical working groups, and represented the unit in agency meetings, delivering insights and updates to advance our legislative agenda. Show less I taught English and Social Studies to 5th graders at Numancia Central Elementary School in Del Carmen, Siargao, while also mentoring student journalists who advanced to the regional schools press conference. In addition to classroom instruction, I led and facilitated teacher training sessions at both the school and district levels. I co-facilitated a community project aimed at empowering youth through theater and personal development workshops. I also spearheaded the implementation of Coca-Cola FEMSA’s Coordinates for Life life skills program for parents and students. Furthermore, I co-led the ground administration for the pilot study for Teach for the Philippines’ fellowship program, collaborating with MIT’s Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab to evaluate the program’s impact at our school.
