      We created a safe, fun, and friendly environment over the summer months where we motivated children between the ages of 6-14 to be physically active while helping them learn how to interact with others. My responsibilities included creating a 10 week summer program which included creating schedules, newsletters, activities and administrative duties which included keeping inventory, spending within our budget, and evaluating my employees.       I act as the main contact for the Penn State Division I men’s golf team. Manage and maintain men’s golf page on www.GoPSUSports.com, while writing all press releases, recaps, previews and feature stories for team. I also distribute information to and coordinate with the media As a student intern, I work events across all of Penn State’s 31 intercollegiate sports. Typical game day tasks include taking statistics, assisting the media, editing post-game videos, and transcribing post-game press conferences. My office hours include helping with research projects, writing press releases, feature stories, and player biographies, as well as assisting with website maintenance for GoPsusports.com and editing media guides. As a Resident Assistant, I facilitate the growth of a community by nurturing the growth of meaningful relationships amongst strangers. I also act as a liaison between my residents and the professional Residence Life staff. Creating and maintaining a safe living environment for all residents in regards to their physical, mental, and emotional health are also other responsibilities that I hold and I serve as a visible campus leader and representative for The Pennsylvania State University.
