  Worked as a lab technician under the direction and advice of Dr. Atta Ahmad and 2 graduate students during two separate periods. In the first period (summer 2016) I studied the relationship between accuracy of protein quantification assays (BCA, Bradford, Pierce) and different protein characteristics (amino acid composition, alpha-helix percentage, etc). In the period from from 2017-2018 I performed experiments at the direction of another grad student and developed lab skills including SDS-PAGE/Acrylamide gels, DNA purification and generating cDNA stocks, bacterial cell culture, and some protein purification columns and Western Blot. Lab's research focus was on heat shock proteins and application to Alzhiemer's disease progression. Show less

In follow-up phase, coordinated submission or extraction of requisite data and imaging and subsequent entry into database. Also involved query resolution, device event/complaint reporting, managing logs/trackers for oversight. Intermittently performed in-person and remote site visits - for data extraction per project needs. Obtained chart access, performed chart review followed by data entry into EDC and imaging upload/requests. Garnered excellent written and verbal communication skills. Chart review & data extraction, as well as fielding complaint-related queries further honed critical thinking skills and analytical skills. eTMF Management (VeevaVault, Florence, BOX, Department Docs, ArisGlobal) for up to 80 sites and in various study phases. Responsible for study document screening/classification/filing into eTMF, as well as team training administration, for up to 7 studies simultaneously, with efficiency and quality.
