      Studied the multi-disciplinary course of Human Biology which covered the physical stuff (Physiology, Anatomy etc), historical stuff (Evolution, Social Anthropology etc), in your head stuff (Psychology, Social Psychology and Sociology yuk), really tough but useful stuff (Maths, Statistics, Physics) and really useful stuff (Nutrition).

      After attending RMAS Sandhurst, entered the RAOC which subsequently become the Royal Logistic Corps. Early career jobs included recruit training, Food Supply in the Falkland Islands, Germany and Hong Kong,After 2 years at the Army Staff College (Shrivenham - 1 year technology and then Camberley for 1 year of staff training) I served as a special weapons officer for 2 years, trained the 14,000 strong RLC TA for 2 years then went to HQ Land Command for another 2 year stint as a high level logistics budget officer in the logistic planning department.After 13 years service I was selected for promotion to Lt Col and subsequently moved to become responsible for training and development policy for senior officers (Brigadier equivalent and above) in the Defence Logistic Organisation.Unfortunately I was retired on medical grounds in Apr 2002.       Now importing stationery from China.I have secured the sole import licence for China's biggest manufacturer of writing instruments. My challenge is now to develop their UK market, aiming to win significant market share. Elsewhere, they have on average 20% market share. This seems an ambitious target but clearly, given their performance in the US, mainland Europe, Middle east and Asia, is achievable.Grateful for any offers to help!
