   Technical liaison and support contact to Newport News Holding Company during transition project to decouple the current Lotus Notes infrastructure to a standalone environment. This project required a separation of data for approximately 600 clients with minimal disruption to the clients. Technical Lead for Lotus Notes Upgrade to Domino 6.5.1 for Eddie Bauer. This project had two major focuses, an upgrade to the Lotus Domino 6.5.1 platform and a separation from the remaining Spiegel Group Domino Environment. The latter focus was undertaken to support the Eddie Bauer business as a standalone entity. Lead the transition of support for the Spiegel Group Messaging Environment from Chicago Data Center to Groveport facility by assuming all responsibilities for server management and technical support activities. Additional responsibilities included a stabilization of the current environment, resolution of ongoing problems, issues and projects. Provide technical direction and decision-making on daily activities and complex technical problems. Technically manage and maintain overall server environment. Ensure server environment is efficient and stable and is designed with long-term corporate and departmental goals in mind.  Reduce support costs and environment instability by identifying and planning Domino server upgrade project to standardize Lotus Domino platform to R5.0.11 with zero downtime. Reduced server downtime by over 78% with the completion of the Domino Server Upgrade project in October of 2003. I was responsible for working with Windows System Administrators to develop group policies for external clients that would sufficiently restrict user access while maintaining compliance for all PCI regulations with Citrix. This involved multiple tests and modifications to both the Citrix environment policies as well as the development of role specific group policies as requested by the business unit. Performed multiple offsite disaster recovery tests utilizing external vendors such as Sun Guard and IBM. These tests typically involved building the entire core Citrix components for a business unit within a fixed period of time. Provide 24x7 support for the numerous lines of business that utilized the Citrix environment at Alliance Data Systems so as to maintain specific SLA metrics for each business unit. Manage the Citrix server environment by performing systematic maintenance. This was accomplished by many methods: automated scripts for clearing user profiles, monitoring scripts to assess disk space utilization and billing reports for each of the business units for chargeback purposes.
