  Clearwater Camp for Girls is an all-girls camp in the Northwoods of Wisconsin that seeks to foster independence and confidence in young girls aged 8 to 16. As a Cabin and Activity Counselor, Gia had the pleasure of living with and mentoring 14-16 year old girls. Gia was also responsible for teaching various activities such as kayaking, canoeing, and arts and crafts. As the Head of Arts and Crafts, Gia attempted to re-envision the Boathouse and successfully completed a make-over of the room, allowing future campers the opportunity to work in a more productive space and utilize exciting equipment like a printing press or participate in craft activities such as felting.
