  As part of the Visitor Services Staff my role was diverse but always centred around the customer experience.My main role was as a first person guide, providing demonstrations of what it was like to work in a c.18th century farm kitchen or dairy, and leading tours for school groups. However, I was also part of the reception and ticket office staff looking after every aspect of the customer visit to make sure they got the most out of their time and being on hand to help with any problems or issues.I regularly contributed to creating activities for themed weekends including creating activity booklets and trails. Further to this I volunteered time at the main house to help with logging collections. Show less

  My role was to support various teams within staffordshire county council, including organizational development and policy, with administration support in:- Event planning and management- Finance administration - Project delivery/support- Learning and Development course bookings/advertisement/evaluations/trainer liaison- Webpage monitoring and updates- Minutes- Data assimilation for reports and presentations- Diary management - Recruitment administration- Loggist under the umbrella of the Civil Contingencies Unit who provide support in major incidentsI successfully played a key role in the recruitment administration for chief executive, the roll out of a new performance review package and the planning and management of key events such as our Senior Managers Conference, Volunteer Staffordshire awards evening and Staffordshire Hundred for up to 200 delegates/guests. Although this my responsibilities could quite often be planned ahead the role often required me to work in a re-active way with regards to ad-hoc urgent issues. Show less

  Working within the umbrella of a Trust of three rural schools in Staffordshire. My responsibilities included: - Executive assistance to the Executive Head and Board of Directors- Recruitment administration management - Maintenance of staff records- Updating training logs including booking training for all staff- Health and Safety maintenance of logs and ensuring work/duties were carried out at each school and that relevant Risk Assessments for trips were in place- Policy maintenance and updating, including keeping a register of all policies and their review dates - ICT Support- Minute taking support to the Senior Leadership Team meetingsDuring my time at the Trust I was instrumental to creating a formal process and formal documents for recruitment, staff records and working with an external Health and Safety partner in creating risk assessments, register of tests/maintenance and related documents. I also played a key role in the roll out of new server systems across the MAT ensuring things were seemlessly transferred and that any disruption caused was contained and resolved as quickly as possible.
