      BEST OVERALL FILM - 'Again.' SMU 48H Film Competition 2020 Jan 2020
    • Awarded to Xing Ming Tan
      Nominated for Best Directing (Top 5) for "One Take" 48 Hour Film Project (Singapore) 2015 The 48 Hour Film Project is a contest in which teams of filmmakers are assigned a Genre, a character, a prop, and a line of dialogue, and have 48 hours to create a short film containing those elements. Shortly after the 48 hours of filmmaking, the films from each city are then screened at a theatre in that city. My team and I were nominated for best directing with our short film, "One Take".

      Sharing ASEAN Video Competition (1st Place) Media Development Authority 2015 The winner represents Singapore in Vietnam, organized by the latter's Ministry of Information and Communications. Our entry, "The Heartlands," revolves around the anecdotal display of a Singaporean's way of life in the neighbourhoods. The narrative touches on culture, lifestyle and the beauty that surrounds a heartlander.
