  End 2014 KPN decided to outsource its internal provision of ICT services of software development (Agile/Scrum) and management of ICT to two, to be selected, ICT service providers. Responsible for: > Devising development and management specifications, selecting the suppliers, and contracting two partnership agreements. > Leading the multidisciplinary deal team and reporting to the Board of Directors of KPN. Results:> Two signed long term IT contracts.> By contractual agreement, a reduction of the TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) and improvement in quality of the ICT service provision. Show less The Procurement department of KPN is responsible for the acquisition and contracting of services and products from KPN suppliers. I was responsible for arranging ICT services and purchasing hardware. In addition to negotiating and securing contracts I was assigned the task of reducing costs by a minimum of 10% when establishing and concluding (new) contracts.Results:> In this period I have secured 8-10 contracts. The main contract was one between KPN and IBM for the provision of IaaS-cloud services. > Through (re)negotiating, bundling of contracts, etc. I realised a cost reduction in my contract portfolio of 10-15% in 2014. Show less KPN uses a range of applications for the delivery and invoicing of internet, television and telephony for consumers over the copper wire and fibre-optic network.Responsible for: > Leading multidisciplinary software development teams (RUP/Agile, waterfall) within the Netherlands and India in making adjustments to the apps, based on specifications from the business. > Delivery of software releases in line with planning and quality standards.> An annual budget and program finance. > HR annual cycle and personal development for KPN (ICT) staff.> Implementation of reorganisations.Results:> 4 large and 10-15 iterative software releases per year in business-critical chains. > Outsourcing: The development work was transferred from NL to India.> Largest project: Phasing-out of the Planet / HetNet brands with a migration of client data from legacy systems to new KPN IT architecture.> Employee satisfaction scores above average.
