Though I am experienced across all warfare spheres, my specialisation is Air Defence and Above Water Warfare. I had at sea experience on Adelaide FFG, Canberra LHD and Hobart DDG Combat Management Systems and further qualified as an Aegis Combat Systems Officer. Show less In an extremely diverse role I primarily undertook duties as an Officer of the Watch, responsible to Command for the safe navigation of a warship. When the opportunity was presented, I was able to train and qualify as an Anti-Submarine/Anti-Surface Aircraft Controller (ASAC), undertaking this role periodically while at sea and ashore. Additionally I was a Boarding Officer, leading a team to intercept, search and at time seize illegal cargo, in locations ranging from the coasts off Australia to the Middle East and Africa.
