      من نحنالاتحاد الوطني لطلبة سورية، منظمة شعبية تضم طلبة الجامعات السورية الحكومية والخاصة والمعاهد العليا والتقانية له فروع داخل سورية وخارجها، تأسس الاتحاد رسمياً في الثالث والعشرين من نيسان عام 1963، مستنداً إلى الموروث النضالي الطلابي الكبير الذي أسسه وقاده القائد الطلابي الأول القائد المؤسس حافظ الأسد، ومنذ ذاك التاريخ ولغاية اليوم لم يكن الاتحاد يوماً بمنأى عن استحقاقات العمل الطلابي بشكل خاص والوطني بشكل عام، فمن خلال فروعه الداخلية في الجامعات الحكومية والخاصة والمعاهد التقانية كان حاضراً في الحياة الطالبية وأنشطتها الثقافية والفكرية والمعلوماتية والفنية والاجتماعية والرياضية وكلها كانت تحظى باهتمام بالغ من أعلى المستويات في الدولة ومن قيادة الاتحاد وهذا ما هيأ لها التطور المستمر والتنوع المطرد، وحتى خارج القطر كانت وما زالت الفروع الخارجية للاتحاد تعكس الوجه الحضاري للوطن.
