  Through my position as an Engagement Ambassador for the University of Michigan Libraries, I worked on a team in charge of planning library events that will appeal to students and creating social media posts that encourage student engagement. Our ultimate goal was to show students all of the great resources and opportunities that the library has to offer through social media and events. As a member of the Marketing and Information Staff, I collaborated with a team of other students to run all of the social media for the Michigan Marching Band. This included writing posts, brainstorming new ideas, and communicating with the other staff and the rest of the band to get the content that we needed for the posts we wanted to create. Through my work at the circulation desk at the libraries I have learned incredible customer relations and organizational skills. I assisted patrons in finding and checking out the items that they need as well as making sure that both the books and my workspace remained clean and organized.
