      I was selected as a Catskill Research Fellow for the Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies. I conducted my master's thesis research on best practices for environmental communication methods in the Rondout & Neversink Watersheds with the NY DEP and the Rondout Neversink Stream Management Program. I researched how to increase community engagement and participation in the decision making process for environmental management plans.

      The BlocPower Enterprise Team works to sell BlocMaps data visualization technology to cities, utilities, and municipalities across the country, as well as assist State Energy Offices with IRA planning and deployment. I am proud to join BlocPower as a full-time community coordinator on their Ithaca team! I will be facilitating the Ithaca Community Advisory Board and working with the Ithaca team on bringing energy efficiency upgrades to the city.

The conference will take place on the Hornblower boat in NYC, and will include a cruise tour of NYC's East River.
