  Cathlab technologist is the vital part of cardiac cathlab as in coordination and management of cardiac cathlab team. The individual should be an energetic member and expected to lead the team as one of the important member and good relations to all cathlab members. The individual takes part in teaching other staff members in the team and introduce new skills in Cardiac Cath Lab. Take an active involvement in varying diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures as a part of routine medical services.Obey all hospital and departmental rules and regulations and give high-class patient care in the institution Clean and prepare all lab equipments for all types of procedure including diagnostics and interventional.Switching on the all machines and check the machine whether it functioning or not.Check and confirm about the status of emergency equipments and accessory diagnostic equipments.Inform correspondent supervisor about the status of cathlab all day morning and maintain daily checklist for diagnostic and interventional equipment and assure the quality of machineries.Check and confirm all previous day CD is recorded, sent to PACS and all patient data should be properly maintained.Check the cathlist of the day and load the previous cath procedures in both labs if it is available.To oversees the quality assurance of all cathlab procedures and prioritize patents based on health condition and ensure their procedure is done on time. عرض أقل

  • Assisting all adult and pediatric cardiac interventions like PTCA, PTMC, BAV, BPV, STENT GRAFTS: Coil embolisation of PDA, MAPACs and fistula; Device closure of ASD, VSD, VSR and PDA: Implantation of pacemakers, AICD and CRTs.• Assisting all diagnostic Electro physiology studies and RF ablations of AVNRT, AVRT, and AF, VT.• Assisting diagnostic studies like CAG, Cardiac Catheterizations and peripheral angiograms.• Assisting Carotid, Renal and peripheral angioplasties• Perfoming IVUS , FFR,IFR,OCT to evaluate the vessel during coronary interventions.• Performing table adjustments and C-arm movements during the procedure.• Preparation; recording; interpreting; and filing of all procedure protocols and reports• Arranging required hardwares for the day-to-day function of cathlab, ordering all disposable supplies necessary for each procedure.• Retrieval of data regarding individual patients and disease entities for clinical and research purpose.• Perform intracardiac pressure monitoring and collection of Blood samples.• Recognize cardiac arrhythmias to enable prompt management.• Assisting in Intubations and CPR.• Independently handling Arrow IABP machine also solving most of the trouble-shooting problem.• Follow up and interrogation of arrhythmia devices.(Pacemakers, AICD,CRT)• Maintaining inventory of the materials in cathlab store including Catheters, Stents, Balloons, Pacemakers, and Guide Wires etc.• Handling ABG equipment and documenting the Blood samples results.• Perform Quantitative Coronary Analysis (QCA).• Entering patient wise consumptions data for procedure done • Impart Training to Junior Cathlab Technicians in Cathlab procedures, sterile precautions etc.• Cleaning and packing of cathlab hardware and sending the same for sterilization.• Maintaing sterility and cleanliness of procedure equipment and supplies.• Responsible for radiation protection عرض أقل
