FIUL3 – Phase2 As a tech lead, supported the team in successful delivery of the FIUL3 product (compliance) for the remaining three states. Created a POC with Mule 4 WSS module to process signed SOAP XML requests from C#/.NET based web clients. Resolved issues with certificate included in SOAP payload and C# client code. The team successfully ported the WSS module from POC to Mule Based Reproposals API. The same fixes have been applied to multiple Mule based API’s and SOAP clients/Vendor applications.AWS Cloud Adoption Joined the team during the digital estate planning phase and assisted in the rationalization of New Business processes. Created a design proposal to modernize the New Business process, replacing legacy state-based applications with event-driven using Amazon API Gateway/MuleSoft, AWS Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, SQS, and SNS. The design was approved by the manager, and a project intake request was submitted. Suggested mainframe modernization through replatforming applications using MicroFocus. Also advised to start with the replatforming of test regions.CPRAProvided system design (RFP supporting documentation) based on managers vision to create an enterprise level purge framework to be compliant with data retention and regulatory requirements.Dremio UpgradeFill in for another tech lead by upgrading Dremio, configuring NAS for reflections, S3 connectivity and resolve upgrade issues related to extended attributes. This enabled the development and Business teams to evaluate Dremio in POC environment as per schedule. Enterprise Data Sourcing – Staging Domain Support the team in ingesting highly nested XML data into a data lake (Staging Domain) using AWS Glue, S3, Pyspark, Python, and the spark-xml library. Utilized spark-xml to convert XSD to a spark schema (JSON format). Offered multiple solutions (Crawler, UPDATE BEHAVIOR, and predefined AWS Glue catalog/Amazon Athena tables) to address schema evolution issues with the ingestion of highly nested and dynamic XML data. Collaborate with the team, Data Architect, product owner, and consumer teams to conduct a feasibility analysis of the above ingestion patterns. Assist in design of ETL process to ingest over 70,000 JSON files for the initial load. Develop POC using Notebooks for XML and JSON ingestion, POC code is ported into the existing event-driven framework (AWS Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge). Resolve performance issues during processing of large XML files and programmatically renaming 5k+ unnested XML columns post relationalize. Created POC using AWS Glue, PySpark to resolve the performance issues. Created a python utility script to process large XML files and emulate glue relationalize. The same script was used to perform testing of ingested unnested XML data into the Exploratory zone.Life Data Foundation – LDF (Operations) Support migration of Informatica-based LDF to AWS S3 data lake within the Staging domain. Address issues during the migration planning of claims variable VSAM files data maps from Mainframe Informatica PWX listener to Windows-based listener on Informatica PowerCenter. Provide scripts to the infrastructure team to extend SQL Server partitions for archive tables until the decommissioning of LDF. Participate in the on-call rotation for LDF operations. Show less
