  I managed a portfolio of GAIN’s national fortification program projects across Africa and Asia, working with country teams and sub-grantees in 10+ countries, including program design, implementation, M&E, learning and dissemination, and donor reporting. In addition to program management, I also supported GAIN's fortification strategy development and alliance-building efforts, and drove global advocacy on the issue. I've written and communicated extensively about fortification programs including good practices, lessons learned, emerging trends, and sustaining impact. As part of the lead up to the FutureFortified Global Summit on Food Fortification in 2015, I coordinated an advisory group of 20+ partners to align on technical issues, develop joint messaging, set a global agenda, and share data on food fortification. In this role I contributed to global guidance on salt iodization by authoring peer-reviewed research on new programmatic areas such as the impact potential of including iodized salt in processed foods. I provided strategic advice and support to the CFYE to develop and maintain the Fund’s monitoring and learning system, capture key insights and write knowledge products for internal and external stakeholders. I designed an an impact service offering and approach based on best practices, and to help customers, primarily investment/asset managers and their portfolio companies, to establish or strengthen their impact monitoring systems to onboard them onto the platform. This includes articulating impact goals aligned to the SDGs, identifying performance metrics, and developing plans to track, validate, aggregate and compare impact data for performance enhancement and reporting across their portfolios.
