Jul 2004 - Mar 2014Identified and corrected 43 ALSS Program discrepancies and completely revamped the work center. These actions directly validated by HSC-28 receiving the only "on-track" ALSS grade in the entire TYPEWING by the 2011 CNAF AMMT Inspection team.Directly supervised 18 sailors across nine work centers executing 216 maintenance actions on one MH-60S in support of 150 sorties directly supporting the C6F operations. These efforts resulted in the qualifications of six plane captains, three collateral duty inspectors, and five personnel qualifying as Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialists.While serving as a Quality Assurance Representative executed 27 program audits which identified 149 discrepancies across 22 programs within 11 work centers. By quickly identifying and correcting these issues the unit was able to obtain an "on-track" grade during the CHSCWL MPA and subsequent AMI inspections. Also supervised six personnel with in the units ARO which is resulted in raising $1600 of profit for the command holiday party which directly increased the morale of 244 service members. Show less As the Phase Coordinator skillfully directed the completion of 1,400 maintenance actions on 528 pieces of survival equipment while leading 12 work centers through 22 phase inspection cycles accounting for 197 special inspections and incorporating 103 technical directive changes to 10 FA-18C Hornets.While serving as the Enlisted Aviation Warfare Program Manager developed an extensive tracking program to ensure 100% participation within the unit while drafting an extensive training instruction. Chairing 20 boards to ensure that standards and knowledge were of the upmost standards, qualified 55 newly assigned personnel within the unit increasing the command qualifications by 45 percent.While performing as a member of the Command Training Team, organized and planned out two General Military Training evolutions accomplishing 66 percent of the required training for 185 personnel while minimizing unit down time. In addition, while serving as a Basic Life Support Instructor instructed 185 sailors within the airwing on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Selected to assist a critically undermanned Quality Assurance Team, quickly integrated and completed 25 program audits to identify and correct discrepancies as well as oversaw the incorporation of 30 technical directives to flight equipment systems. Elected as Vice President of the Fist Class Petty Officers Association, quickly revamped the association bi-laws, establishing a new Master-at-Arms positions and organizing 25 fund raisers allowing for the ability to donate $3500 to the unit’s holiday party directly impacting the morale of over 220 service members assigned to the unit Show less Flawlessly managed and monitored the Aviators Breathing Oxygen program and Hazardous Material Control Programs which resulted in 100 percent compliance with Naval Aviation Maintenance Procedures (NAMP) objectives while receiving an impressive grade of “zero” discrepancies across four consecutive program audits. As the training facilitator led the leadership indoctrination course for 167 newly promoted personnel reinforcing the Navy core values and ensuring compliance with all training protocol requirements. Additionally, managed a 154-personnel duty section ensuring completely training of personnel while generating over 120 watch bills to ensure 100 percent force protection over unit assets.
