Show less Bangladesh is the fastest growing mobile money market in the world. People are turning more towards cashless solutions to meet their micro-level transactions. Mobile money has helped to create new ways to improve financial transaction for the poor through secure and hassle-free money management. Adoption of mobile money services across the IDP intervention (Char & Haor) area can accelerate a ‘cashless’ financial ecosystem in BRAC and Bangladesh. Subsequently, it will increase women access to financial transaction and the adoption of new digital financial services. Reducing physical effort on cash; minimizing the cost of accounting; accelerating organizational efficiency; cost efficiency, optimized work hour, safety and security of branch level money transaction are the objectives of IDP Cashless Branch.In line with the project objective my responsibility comprised of:• Provide overall field supervision, technical and logistic support to the field offices to ensure smooth operation of Cashless Branch (P2B & B2P payments) and to transform Micro-finance branches cashless in hard to reach areas• Prepare project proposal, annual budget, AoP, training plan and schedule, quarterly, half yearly and yearly progress report to operate Cashless Branch• Increase clients adoption of mobile money, wallet acquisition and Micro-finance clients P2B payment transactions and B2P disbursement • Develop technical skill for the staff and the project beneficiaries on mobile money transactions and payment• Develop branch level digital financial services, operational efficiency, agent service network for BRAC programme operation• Conduct regular field visit, campaign, and teamwork to ensure field implementation efficiency, effectiveness and share communication, textual, audio-visual documentation and knowledge management support to the internal and external project interest group• Contribute to the global financial inclusion initiative for the unbanked. Show less Action research is a subject of growing interest to practitioners who are seeking to conduct empirical researches which may help to provide answers to local problems. Such a situation calls for a practical approach that combines ‘affirmative actions’ at the policy level in the spirit of human rights and action-oriented interventions by the programme with active participation of haor dwellers. For the Haor People, BRAC creates opportunities for basic services, developed livelihoods, social awareness and empowerment, research, knowledge and data management through an integrated development that reaches 70%-80% of people in the Baniachong and Derai upazila.
