At Our Lady of Mercy Elementary School, I worked one-on-one with a child with moderate-severe autism, collaborated with my Education Resource Worker supervisor to design and implement activities catered to the specific needs of a child with autism, and learned the appropriate methods needed to handle violent behavioural outbursts.
