  ● Being a part of the Supply Management team, as a Materials Manager, I supported our category supply managers with an annual spend of $1.05 billion in raw materials to six manufacturing facilities and three freezer locations.● In addition to daily supply assurance responsibilities, I was also given the opportunity to utilize my strengths by improving key processes within the procurement team. Recently completed and launched is the new claims tracking and reporting process. The team designed a new workflow for the process, while I developed a tracking tool by creating a custom Sharepoint list, which contains the functionality to collect all vital claim information, automatic email communications triggered by specific list events, and easy Excel reporting for all level of the organization- from the manufacturing locations, up to Corporate Senior Leaders.● I completed a project that required me to streamline the tactical task of purchasing raw materials. Each category buyer is now able to purchase any raw meat material using one process. This automates several manual parts of the process- freeing up time and effort; makes it seamless for employees to cover each other’s categories; and allows for ease of future training across categories. Show less ● In this role, I was a vital connection between our teams and our data. I extracted and reported many forms of data including: Productivity tracking, KPI reporting, Volume and Spend analytics, and ad hoc reporting as requested by my associates and Leadership Team.● I was relied upon to be innovative with the technology I used, and creative in the designs of these reports to assure they were easy to use, pleasant to read, and sustainable for long term use.● I enjoyed having the opportunity to push my technological abilities beyond my current skill set to learn new tricks of the trade. Show less ● When I entered into this role, I entered with a mindset of making things better, not only for this position, but for the department. While in this role, I was able to introduce new technology to the group for data sharing, improved the communication process between corporate positions and internal and external customers, and implemented a new SAP contracting process which reduced the amount of time spent by 30%. In addition to these accomplishments, I also became a liaison between the manufacturing plants and corporate headquarters to help trouble shoot SAP contracting and PO issues. Show less ● As a Technical Support Contractor, I had the opportunity to work with three divisions: Nutrition Applications and Regulatory (NAR), Corporate Quality, and Specification Management. As an important member of the team, my many undertakings included, but not limited to, maintaining the Label Matrix database, managed several spreadsheet projects, assisted manufacturing plants with SAP, developed Business Intelligence (BI) reporting templates, implemented a tracker for Project Specification Management routes, and conducted several trainings on the new tools and reports created.
