      Activities and Societies: I took part in all available activities connected to the field of writing, publishing and cultural criticism. Some of them are Drugost magazine, the Initiative of Cultural Studies Students (IKS), I have twice assisted professors at specific projects, spoke independently at one conference, and naturally - there was a lot of editing, proofreading and translating in this time. :) No sports, unfortunately... Well, not of the physical kind anyway. The study (Cultural Studies at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Rijeka) is focused around media studies, cultural theory texts, and productions and making an impact in the local cultural fabric. As students, most of us have been engaged in projects whose nature complemented our interests. My interests have always been in education and publishing, as well as organizational work which I simply enjoy executing. My interests have always been in education and publishing, as well as organizational work which I simply enjoy executing. What I feel my studies have enabled me most in is the ability to work both as a team member (leader) as well as independently: immediately after having graduated, I was employed as chief of the English department in a publishing company, and some years later, I have opened my own studio for textual production - both of which came quite naturally to me and pleasantly, to be sure.When people ask me what I prefer, however - it is impossible to say. I enjoy teaching as much as being involved in the production of texts. Words are spells, regardless of where we use them. :) Show less
