Durante este periodo, participé en el proyecto titulado “Formulación computacional de optimización estructural y aeroelástica de tableros de doble cajón de puentes de gran vano con flujo turbulento e incertidumbres mecánicas” y financiado por el Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad. Mi actividad se centró en: - Preproceso, lanzamiento y postproceso de simulaciones computacionales basadas en la teoría de dinámica de fluidos, utilizando el software libre OpenFOAM y los recursos de computación en paralelo de la universidad y del Centro de Supercomputación de Galicia. - Realización y postproceso de ensayos en el túnel de viento de la universidad.Research engineer at Structural Mechanics Group, based in Universidade da Coruña School of Civil Engineering. During this period, I participated on the project whose title was “Computational formulation of structural and aeroelastic optimization of long-span bridges twin-box decks with turbulent flow and mechanical uncertainties” and supported by the spanish economy ministry. My activity was focused on: - Preprocessing, runing and postprocessing computational simulations based on fluid dynamics theory, by using the open source software OpenFOAM and the parallel computation resources from university and the Galician Supercomputation Centre. - Runing and postprocessing wind tunnel tests at university's wind tunnel.
