This includes managing non-commodity cost forecasts and risk premia, margin setting and price book creation, managing default tariffs as well as continuous improvement and engagement with industry changes (market wide half-hourly settlement for example).Key achievements include: o Increased gross margin by £10m per annum by reviewing Opus’ variable and out-of-contract policy o Protected the business from non-energy cost volatility by introducing a new risk premia methodology o Introduced a more reactive REGO pricing methodology to protect against increased volatility in that market Show less Full responsibility for all hedging and forecasting related activities for the Opus Energy brand.
