      Activities and Societies: During my time in university I was active in both the Mechanical engineering guild(within the student council) and in the swimming team at TIF( The schools sports team) For me, the school has always been about improving my toolbox in terms of understanding and capabilities in solving problems. At LTH I gained valuable knowledge in mechanics, fluid dynamics, programming, math and most importantly how to tackle subjects I am unfamiliar with. For me, the most interesting courses was the ones where I got to apply the knowledge I had acquired from previous courses into real life examples, such as Biomechanics, Aerodynamics and Simulations of flow fields.

      During 2019 I worked part time at Vattenhallen Science Center outside of my studies. I helped withstudy vists from schools, events and visits from the public. Here I have acquired aservice mind and learnt how I should I act towards different target groups.Vattenhallen Science Center works towards givings children and teenagers a biggerinterest for science and technolog.If you ever visit Skåne in Sweden and have kids, I strongly recommend a visit!

      The thesis was about to create and evaluate different methods to approximate the time it took for mixing tanks to reach an homogeneous mixture, while also studying the flow fields inside the tanks. This was done by using the CFD program Ansys Fluent. Both computational accuracy and simulation time was then into consideration during the thesis.       Mechanical Design Engineer

      My main responsibility as an Mechanical Design Engineer at IKEA has been the construction for different types of bedroom furnitures to have a good functionality and fullfilling requirements, while also taking cost, production and customer experience into consideration. I have mainly worked with chest of drawers, but also other types of furnitures such as beds, hallway furnitures and other storage furnitures. My work for the product development also includes documentation, including being in a pilot project when IKEA launched its new PLM system(where I have been one of the most influencial users to try out the system and given a lot of valuable feedback). I have also had extra assignments as a Buddy(a type of mentorship) for new co-workers in my role. Besides working in the development teams, I have also been part of the stability solution team, where I have acted as superuser out to the development teams and also helped verifying solutions.
