  • The Joplin Area Healthcare Marketing Alliance was founded to address a need for healthcare-related coalition of representatives who serve the Joplin MO area. The goal was to look beyond each other as competition and more as referral sources for information in order to become "opinion leaders."• Monthly meetings are held to provide our over 60 members the opportunity to present to the group how their services/ facility differ from similar agencies and increase our collective knowledge. The meetings also serve as an avenue for local Physicians, CEOs, Surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to share a particular focus on the area’s healthcare needs. • An annual community event is organized in October to serve local low-income seniors with basic personal, social and health services. The event includes distribution of hygiene goods, clothing, warm weather gear, advance directive/living wills and Medicare open enrollment. Show less
