This year I have taken on the role of Secretary dealing with many third party organisations to keep our information upto date.I mainly cover the publicity for the class but also manage all the documentation which goes with running a class association. I am also the main contact for new people who want to learn about the Tornado or join the class association. The ITA is a World wide association for sailors of the Tornado Catamaran. I sit on the committee with many others spread around the World to decide where we want to take the class association allowing support for sailors across the globe.I mainly cover the publicity for the class talking to sailors and the media about the boat and the events we are running.

      At Emperor I worked with a variety of clients supporting them through the whole project lifecycle from inital requirements gathering through to launch of their website or online solution.During the process I worked with a variety of 3rd party suppliers for various items including outsourcing development to India, video, share price feeds, stock imagery and content creation.The majority of the projects were built using Emperor's custom .Net CMS but I also worked with the EpiServer CMS and flat HTML websites.I was responsible for managing the clients through the process keeping them upto date with weekly meetings and status reports. Some recent work includes:National Treatment Agency for Substance Misuse - http://www.nta.nhs.ukFrom the initial pitch we provided a full solution and information architecture for the NTA to replace their manually updated website.       Initial six month contract working as a feature team lead (scrum master) on the Helios (now PACE) programme for the Renault-Nissan Alliance. This involved working with onshore and offshore teams around the globe focussing on different areas initially then onto leading the Car Configurator.The programme vision is to create a global digital customer engagement platform to ultimately be rolled out to all regions, markets and brands across the Renault-Nissan Alliance. This was across 6 brands and 376 markets with 50 different languages which includes right to left markets.The websites are built on AEM and are responsive. My main focus was adding additional, highly complex, features to the car configurators for Renault, Nissan and Infiniti.The car configurator is a JavaScript heavy application integrated into AEM which utilises JSON data files for each model of vehicle. There are various features which can be turned on and off for different markets to use.From July 2017 I focussed on the Nissan and Infiniti brands working towards the launch of the Nissan North America and Japan websites. From January 2018 our team focussed on blocker features for the launching phase 2 of the Nissan Japan website which included the Configurator.My role involved leading a multi discipline team of 30 people who were split between London, Bogota and India. The product owner was embedded into our team on a daily basis and we were working closely with the various markets around the World to gather requirements, define solutions and implement them.Other teams were also committing code for the Configurator based on different priorities, I set up the rhythms and routines to balance priorities as well as mitigate risk reporting into key stakeholders.Key tools used: AEM, JIRA, Confluence, Altair Show less
