  Areas of study include dying, death and chronic illness. I am also experienced in curriculum development. Currently I teach health care courses, both graduate and undergraduate. I travel with and teach both students and professional social workers in Ireland and participate in teaching inter-disciplinary health care practice. Special area of interest is the social climate of Central Europe, particularly Hungary. Taught classes in the BSW and MSW program, including the international study class to Ireland. During this time I also served as the Director of the BSW program and later, Director of the MSW program. Accepted administrative responsibilities for beginning the successful re-accreditation process for Social Work while awaiting the hiring of a School of Social Work program director.
