  ■ Implementation of Higher Education National Schemes, i.e., Rashtriya Uchhtar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) & Pradhan Mantri Uchchattar Shiksha Abhiyan (PM-USHA) enhancing the quality of Higher education. Access, equity, inclusion and quality have been identified as parameters for improvement and intervention while implementing the NEP 2020. ■ Communication: Liason between the Ministry of Education and states to ensure alignment of goals and effective implementation of RUSA/PM-USHA.■ Monitoring & Evaluation: Through macro-level analysis in terms of fund utilization by the states on physical and financial achievement against their anticipated outcome in the sanctioned proposal.■ Capacity Building: Organized problem-solving meetings and interventions to identify challenges, brainstorm solutions and implement effective interventions enhancing the performance of the States towards implementation of the scheme.■ Release of Grants: For implementation of the projects in the States, proposal evaluations are done towards release of the grants as per the new General Finance Rules (GFR) of Ministry of Expenditure. ■ Review of Proposal: Conducted thorough reviews of proposals submitted for PAB (Project Approval Board comprising of Secretary (Higher Education), UGC & AICTE Chairperson etc) consideration, ensuring alignment with scheme objectives, feasibility, and adherence to regulatory requirements. Provided detailed feedback and recommendations to enhance the quality and effectiveness of proposed projects. ■ Mobilization: Popularizing the scheme among the States to enhance its spatial horizon and guiding them for becoming a part of the PM-USHA scheme for various identified components.■ Data Management: Data analysis as part of continuous and comprehensive evaluation of the schemes.■Prepare answers to Audit queries and Parliament questions.
