    • Trinity College Dublin

      2010 - 2014
      Bachelor's degree Materials Science 2.1

Level 8 undergraduate science degree with dual major in physics and chemistry. The course focused on the theoretical and practical aspects of material science and nanoscience and involved long term individual and group projects. A solid mathematics foundation was provided covering linear algebra and multivariable calculus.

    • Trinity College Dublin

      2014 - 2019
Doctor of Philosophy - PhD Physics

My research focused on engineering two-dimensional materials for novel nanoelectronic devices. Focused ion beams were used to modify the structural and electrical properties of MoS2 to fabricate artificial synapses for neuromorphic computing applications.
